That is the best you will get. That was the first plane I put together, and it was a little difficult reading them. That's what you get with a cheap plane, but the plane itself is a great quality plane. If you can post specific questions and pictures we will surely help with answers and pictures of our own.

The simple drawings, with few words, are all you get from World Models.
You might want to download a few manuals for other brands and use them to help.
Tower Hobbies Trainer 40:

Hobbico Superstar 40:

Hangar 9 Alpha 40:

Global RCM Trainer 40:

None of these will be identical to the Skyraider but they might be close enough to help get you through any tough spots.

That is where places like this come in handy. Just ask anything you need to know and we will try to help you with it. most of the ppl here have built more then one trainer so most of us know what you are going to be doing.

Thanks for responses. Appreciated. I am sure there are many just like myself who needs help. Your respond is great. Thanks again. While i am building my trainer, i'll try to put together more detailed instructions for this kind of plane and post it in this forum.

RE: is there any detailed instructions for Skyraider Mach 1
Ok guys, I maidened my Skyraider mach 1 this past Saturday. When I initially balanced it using a full package of the stick on weights it was I thought just a little light on the nose, in other words a little tail heavy. I flew it with an OS LA 40. After flying the plane it flew straight but was climbing and I had to add about 7 clicks of down elevator. I am using a Spektrum DX6i radio. Something was not right and I landed after only about 2 to 3 minutes of flight. I took the plane home and bought a SIG balancer machine. I re-balanced and found the plane was way tail heavy. So I went and bout a Magnum 46 engine and installed it. The difference being the OS LA 40 with muffler weighs about 9 ounces. The Magnum weighs 13-15 ounces with muffler. After installation of the new engine I rebalanced and now the plane is in neutral balance With the full package of stick on weights on either side of the fuel tank. My battery is an 1100 MAH and it is under the fuel tank. If anything it isjust maybe a little nose down while in the balancer. But way better than the original tail heavy condition. I am amazed that the airplane did not try to snap roll on me during the landing sequence. Anyway I will be doing the second flight if all goes well this coming weekend. What are you guys using for engines on the skyraider Mach 1 and batteries? What did your CG come out to be?
Thanks
Glenn

Willig,
I have both Mach I and Mach II.
They tend to be nose heavy.
Both Harry Higley and DuBro make heavy prop nuts.
I've been able to get them to balance with these.
I have also, like you, put the battery in the fuel compartment.
Good Luck,

With an OS 46LA my brother mounted the receiver battery under the engine mount and got it balanced with no additional weight.

How did he do that? Do you mean inside the firewall under the fuel tank? Or do you mean he actually put the battery on the outside under the engine? I have to see this. Can you send pictures? I am doubtful you understood how he mounted the battery. The battery will not physically go behind the firewall as the end of the fuel tank protrudes there and the fuel lines as well. I am curious as to where he mounted his battery. Please send me some pics
Thanks

No pictures, and the plane didn't survive our club pylon races. I know exactly what he did though. The battery pack was wrapped in foam, and wrapped with clear packing tape to keep oil off the foam. He glued a couple of popsicle sticks between the cowl cheeks with epoxy and 'painted' them with epoxy to seal the wood. He attached the battery pack to the sticks with clear packing tape. He drilled a hole in the firewall and ran the wires to the switch using a servo extension.
