Flight sim goggles...

A couple of years ago, there used to be a type of vision goggles that could be used for flight sims. It reportedly made the view of the flying field look like it was 20 feet across instead of just a puter screen size. Is this still available and if so, whre can you buy a set?[8D]

See this: [link=http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_Main.html]3D Vision[/link]
I have the monitor, graphics card ( Nvidia GT295 ) and glasses setup.
It works great with versions of Realflight, G3, G4, G5.
It is sort of pointless with many other sims that do not render the virtual world in 3D, such as Reflex, Phoenix, etc.

I was looking for a type of display that is strapped on to the head and is a small monitor with an LCD display, not 3D glasses. I think it was made by Sony. Thankx for the reply though.[8D]

Ah sorry.
What you are looking for are PC Display Goggles.
There are still a few manufacturers of them around, but they seem to have fallen out of a degree of favor.
Google for "PC display goggles" and you'll turn up a number of hits.
