Servo Arm Help

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">OK my friends I am in search for help and info once again. I have a Tower Pro MG90 micro servo that I need a longer than stock servo arm for. I have tried several from Dubro, #931, 932,933, 934 and 986. I guess I should go ahead and buy the others but a lot of money has been wasted already. If one of my new found friends could help it would be great.</div>

I am not sure which arms fit the splines on that particular servo. Another option might be to just extend the arms you have. You could attach a piece of another arm onto the one you have with screws or you could make an extension from fiberglass sheet (PC board sorta stuff) and screw that on to the existing arm. A piece of aluminum sheet might work too.

Done that before Chuck! :)

And as Chuck said, use screws. CA doesn't stick very well to most servo horns. lol

RE: Servo Arm Help

I have run into the same problem before. it was with tower pro micro servos on a Hyperion Sniper that had poor aileron throw. The aileron horn supplied with the plane has one hole and there is really no good way to add more because of the shape. The included arms with the servos just weren't long enough to give adequate throws on high rates. Since I have found no aftermarket arma that will work with the servos, extending them seems like the logical choice.
