is the RCU search option broken?

Ihave tried for several days now to do some searches on RCUniverse and the page never loads. Did this option break with the move to the new server or is this a new break? It is pretty hard to search for answers if you can not search!

Yes, that feature did "break" with the move. The techs do have that on the list and will be correcting it just as soon as possible.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

These days, I have used Google including the keyword RCUniverse with good results.

I think we should be able to get some sort of refund or credit for our "inconvenience" during this server move. Please contact me to let me know when I can expect my refund........ :D :D

Even that (Google search for something on RCU) does not appear to work (at least it was not working yesterday). I did a search yesterday for a charter.net web page that Howard Sullivan had (up til last year) for his wing and fuselage jig. Google found it ok but the Google link was to something with search.rcuniverse.com and that does not work so I get the same results as I would if I tried to bring up the search option directly while on RCU.

Yes, M_d, if Google takes you back to the search feature, the same happens.

However, it also takes you to at least some relate threads directly.

Thanks, Mike; that's very nice from you.:)

I was thinking the same thing. I mean with the time spent waiting for the search to not work and the standard hourly wage for someone in my profession: Wait a minute, I'm retired. I don't make money, I spend money. Sorry, I guess I owe RCU something.

You can use Google to search any site. For RCUtry "site:www.rcuniverse.com your words here" without the quotes. For example, from google.com try site:www.rcuniverse.com search broken or site:www.rcuniverse.com venture 60
