Those look like flying wire ends that have plastic applied.

You could do the same with existing rigging.

its for a buddy of mines Ultimate 100cc plane....his flying wire keeps popping, its getting cut into, and the thimble idea will solve it

The only other thing I can think of is to try Fishing wires and leaders.

They have the same problems and should have a similiar solution.

I'm the guy with the world models 33% ultimate. I tried to contact vogalsang and got an answering service early this morning and as of 5pm no reply. I've been thinking if there is an easier way to do the flying wire bit without turnbuckles but know of none. What I don't like is that it is a two man job to attach the pins that hold the flying wires in place. I have to have someone to raise and lower wings so the pins can be perfectly lined up or they will not go in. I wonder if anyone has came up with an easier way to attach the flying wire set that does not use turnbuckles to set the tension? My ultimate is by far the best flying plane I have ever flown(sorry about that katana) but it is a NIGHTMARE to put together at the field!!! Has anybody out there re-invented the wheel as far as flying wires go? I know that their are many planes that don't use them but mine does!

The prop balancer is made in germany and with their name I would think they are a german company operating in North Carolina but I could be wrong!

I would like some kind of turnbuckle setup that would have some kinda lock that pulls the cable's tension tighter as it locks like vise grips or a come along does. Some kinda ball and lock fastener that is quick, easy and secure!
