Congratulations. The only therapy for jitters is time on the sticks by yourself!
I had 4 different guys give me instruction when I was starting out. One of the best pieces of advice I got was to go up to the flight line and just watch experienced fliers bring their planes in. You can learn an incredible amount by seeing how they line up, how they set their glide and how they handle those last moments before the wheels stick to the earth for good. |

CONGRATS!
As for the nervousness with people going away... It will, trust me. Eventually you'll WANT people to watch you :D |

Way to go!
Now, go out and Practice, Practice and then do some more Practice. I always recommend that new pilots work on touch-and-goes during at least one flight per week. Really helps when going to other planes. Also, you will be concentrating so hard, that the nervousness due to other pilots being around you will be minimized. 3DFanatic is right, eventually you will be wanting everyone to watch what you are doing. Take care and let us know how it goes with you. |
