ember 2 RTF

the ember 2 only has 2 sets of the landing gear which is in the front. if you land, won't the back just scrape along the pavement, or are you supposed to catch it?

Actually, the Ember 2 has a tail skid that keeps the tail off the ground. It's just a simple loop of thin wire, but it works.

My son's Ember 2 has been flying for over a year now without so much as a scratch. It a wonderful little plane for indoor flying, but he's flown it outside when the winds are calm.

Hope this helps...

okay thanks yeah im thinking about getting this for some backyard flying. seems like a great little plane. the only thing i don't like is its design, but its fine. :D

The Ember 2 was designed to be a lightweight, slow flying plane, and it definitely excels at that. My 9 yr old son soloed on this plane last May, and I haven't gotten it back from him yet! You'll love it too! Mind you, he has other planes too, but the Ember 2 is still his favorite to fly.

lol wow well im 13 so this is my first rc plane. i have an rc car but im really interested in planes, and im excited to fly one, but also nervous too because i have never flown an rc plane. also, you can fly micro rc planes in a park right?

Yes you can fly them in a park, but you'll want to fly when there is no wind. The Ember 2 is extremely light and will get blown away if there is any wind.

okay thanks because i wasn't sure about micro planes since what i understand is that large planes can't be flown in a park. im really thinking about sticking to micro though.

If you have a park with some space the standard size park flyers will perform better for you. Just 5 mph of wind is enough to lift and push an Ember 30-40 feet back before a beginner pilot can regain control.
