Name this Plane
1 Attachment(s)
this plane was given to my brother. It appears to be an older ARF. It has a K&B45 and old s28 servos. Its says Skylane on the wingtips. Would like to know what company put it out, so we can get the correct CG

RE: Name this Plane
You can calculate the correct CG using one of many tools. This is onehttp://www.geistware.com/rcmodeling/cg_calc.htm#cg If followed exactly, it will give you as good or better recommend CG that the plans or instructions.

RE: Name this Plane
Great planes skylane, older equipment in it, but definatly not a trainer plane.

RE: Name this Plane
I had the Goldberg Skylane and used it for a trainer. The only negative was its tendency to tip stall if I got too slow on landings. It was nothing vicious that caused it to spin in, but definitely taught me to manage my airspeed. Otherwise though it was gentle in the air and more slippery in the wind than a traditional trainer.
