What is this U-O
I called the weather station today wanting to know what that Unidentified Object in the sky was. They assured me that it was no problem. It will occur up to 3 times a year in Michigan. Geeze, they said it was the sun.[8D][8D][8D][8D][8D]

I agree, in Florida we can fly all year round. There are some problems, as stated in the previous post, but we deal with them. At our club we are friendly with the locals. We let them fly but sometimes they get unrully and we have to ask them to leave... This is a real photo taken at my field.

Don't fret, Irish. It goes away after a fashion.. usually in the evening. :D But, where you are, way up north there, it may not go away at all!!! You know.. 24 hour daylight and all... [X(] :D

RE: What is this U-O
Well Gene, it has been nice and warm this spring but the wind just hasn't quit at all. I have an old student retraining and I took him out last week on the buddy box. The wind really didn't effect him at all as far as flying goes but when he would have the plane 8 inches over the ground with the power off and the plane just hovered there it was a bit nerve wracking for him. It isn't too strong to fly in but it isn't something to be training in either. I was bringing the plane back into the pits down wind and the plane got flipped over on it's back. It's been a steady 30mph with heavy gusts. According to the weather man on TV this has been the strongest constant wind for the month of April in history. I have been going out once a week because of cabin fever but I have been flying my pattern planes. My area has been one constant dust cloud and my Allegra can keep up with the sneeze factor. It is warm and sunny though.:D Just hard to drive the van and keep it in my own lane!!;)
