Hey Guys,
Which plane do you think would be better for a noob learning to fly by himself , Bixleror CloudsFly / AXN Floater Jet?<div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Verdana, Arial, helvetica"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"> </span></font></div> |
RE: HobbyKing
Well, it kind of depends. The Bixley looks faster than the "floater". Both state trainers so it would be up to you. If you work with an instructor, it becomes a matter of choice. if you want to work alone, well, it depends on if you crash hard or soft.

Bixler gets very good reports

RE: HobbyKing
I have owned both, Bixler is barely slower but can carry extra weight (cam/fpv/bigger bats) and the axn is barely quicker more sport flying (can also glide). Both are very durable and my axn is what taught me to fly so it was repaired hundreds of times with glue. You cant go wrong with either one imo. The Axn is more fun to fly once you learn to fly because you can do extreme dives/high g moves and increase prop size for more speed heck i even replaced the motor with a 7 dollar turnigy and it was pushing almost 95mph.

RE: HobbyKing
I have the AXN and one of my flying buddies has the Bixler. Both are great planes with the speed edge going slightly to the AXN. The AXN has a 50" wingspan and the Bixler I think is 54". Both fly great and both are tough. I believe the AXN is a bit cheaper overall in price.

RE: HobbyKing
Have a look at this if you want to see what a completely standard Bixler2 can do BTW the flaps at an extra element of fun
