BFP
As with anyone in this hobby we are always looking down the road at the BFP or Better Faster Plane. I want to eventually fly warbirds and I noticed a lot of people liked the Top Flite AT-6 stating that it is very easy to fly and stable for a warbird. Would this be a good plane to transition into warbirds? I would like to build the ARF this winter and get it ready to fly for next summer. IF it isn't a good first warbird what warbird would you recommend to use to get started in that field?</p> |
RE: BFP
How are your flying skills? what have you flown before?
A warbird is not a good second airplane, true the Texan was a trainer but it is not an RC trainer..... If you've got 3 or so different airplanes under your belt and understand throttle and elevator on approach, how to use rudder...then get a warbird and have fun |
RE: BFP
Oh I am not ready to fly a warbird yet but I am looking to build one and get it set up for when I am ready. I guess I am looking to find out if this is a good start for a warbird. I wouldn't take something like this up unless I felt confident enough in my skills to fly it.
