Well, it's a trainer, that's for sure.

Looks like my SIG LT-40 but in a custom covering scheme. The engine may be a O.S. .46 FX on it. I am kinda new also but my trainer looks just like this. What is the wingspan on it and length?

Looks like an older hangar nine easy 2, except for the rounded nose on the fuse near the prop. Definitely will be a floater and easy to fly. Be sure to use at least six good rubber bands to hold the wing on (unless it has been modified for wing screws). I believe I remember the book calling for 8 rubber bands. It will be a blast to fly. I still take my old tranier out once in a blue moon.

Hey Bill. How goes it?

Yer right. I sold my original trainer because a fellow club member crashed his and really wanted another Nexstar. I missed that thing enough to go out and buy another trainer. I got a real good deal on another RTF and bought it pretty much at cost from the LHS. That's the one that I flew one morning, and forgot to raise the darned antenna. Anyway, I now am a proud owner of a good old Hanger 9 trainer and fly that quite often.

It's great to go out and just fly a relaxing few tanks. But, as things would have it, after flying aircraft that fly like they are on rails, go where you point them, getting back to a foating trainer was a wake up.. back to flight training days. Rolls and loops were sloppy at first until I re-learned to fly that darned thing.. :D.

Did you feel the quake today? Now that really woke up the folks at the FAA Tech Center!!! We had to evacuate for about 20 minutes. Then the rest of the afternoon was nothing but earthquake talk.

Semper Paratus!

Looks to be a China clone of the ever popular Sig LT-40 trainer. I've trained a number of fledgings with this plane. Good trainer with a FP.40 engine.

Balance it on the spar, make sure it's also balanced laterally (left/right). Take your pick on .40 size trainers to copy the control throws, and do the engine break in. Get an experienced flyer to maiden it you'll have a great time with it.
