I there a place where you can get a crash course online on flying tip and tricks - a place with video would be ideal!!

Crash Course
"Crash Course" its a figure of speech meaning quick - just the basics
|
Crash Course
LOL - I crash well enough on my own! :D
|
Crash Course
You don't need a course. I taught myself how to crash.. :D (yeah yeah, I know, it was a figure of speech)
Seriously though, what exactly are you looking for? It sounds like you want an online simulator to learn to fly. There are many excellent sites on aerodynamics, beginner RC (e.g. <Beginner RC etc. Just look up "beginner rc" on the net and you'll find lots of informative sites. Getting a simulator will also help as a start. Nothing beats hands-on instuction at a local club, IMHO but rather than start a long oft-repeated discussion on that, I will leave that decision to you. Best of luck, Nuker |
Crash Course
I am putting together an article for getting started into RC flying - I am just loking for resources really - I wrote it well enough on my own experiences but it is always nice to have other resources

John,
I don't know who makes it, but I will find out. ;) I help with articles in the newsletter but another member puts it together. He does do a nice job. Bill |
Here is George's response to my question.
Hi Bill,
Yeah that was a working model engine Robart Had shown in their booth a few years ago. They now have a production version available I think but I believe the production version has nine cylinders. There are some other companies that also sell radial four strokes... Saito, O.S. technopower and Siedel. I think most start at around $1600.00 and probably double for the 18 cylinder! That's as much info from here, check the companies website for more info. Geo. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/larson...adiaengine.jpg |

That Radial was insane - it looked like it was two radials stacked up - hey Geo see my signature for refering back to your article!
