Batteries and props
 

I have two planes 1 Ember 2 and 2 Aires ultra - micro traner 100. I have learned more from the Ember 2 than can be explained. The purchase if the second one is receient but I was wondering if the batteries are interchangeable. They both are 150 mAh 3.7 v . Now some of the numbers are a little different on the end but basically look like the same. I have several for the first plane but would like to have spare for the second as well. If I have to , I 'll just bite the bullet and pay2.99 for the batteries. Don't want to hurt the little motor. Question two has to do with the prop for the Ember 2. Of course I broke it only after loads of fiights. Does it just pull off the shaft and if so does it need to be spot glued back on. I have found where to get them and shipping probably be as much as the parts. Love it anyway. Wanted to run these questions by the pro's on this forum. Because these little electrics are slow and do not self destruct when crashing I have learned a lot. Sure feels good to watch a plane stay level and do a slow fly-by. Thanks and will check back. I have the night vapor and it is a great plane, basically an ember with lights. BLAST to fly :D It orginally came with a 70 MaH battery. I have been flying it with 150 MaH batteries for months, gives me 25 minute flights, probably would do more. I don't thinlk you'll hurt the motor or ESC by using a 170 MaH battery. I have read that the GWS 4090 (I tihnk that is the size I remember reading) is a great prop for the plane. You can also get what is called a prop saver kit, it screws onto the shaft and allows the prop to be held on by a rubber O-ring. I can't remember but I believe my vapor has a small nut that holds the prop on. I would not glue to the prop on, as it would make it very difficult to remmove if you were ever to break another prop.

thanks for the reply and it helps a lot. I have flown the Ember quite a lot and it still is a fun little thing and just hatted to sit it on the shelf etc. I got the Aers tranner 100, new on the block, and as of yet not flown. It uses the same type batteries. It is a little heaver and probably will handle the breezes a little better. I could stop the Ember someitmes. Once more thanks being relative new at this and just hate to make more problems when not needed if you know what I mean.
