Computer radio Headache
 

Good morning everyone, I am trying to setup a model using a CH9 Futaba tx and rx, my dilemma is, I plugged up all servos to their respective channels then try to test the movements. I'm puzzled out of my mind as to why when I push left stick up/down the elevator deflects, when right stick is moved up/down the throttle servo moves, completely opposite of what a basic setup must accomplish. I went in tx and reset all the settings that I think would cause any hampering, all mixes are inh, can somebody enlighten me as what is happening?[:o]

I might be wrong I'm kinda new to planes but it sounds like your remote os on mode 1 and you want mode 2 but like I said I might be wrong.

I don't see any option that will allow me to change modes, I also try to use a JR 10SX with a KDS rx/module and the same situation occurred. I will go back and see if there is a option for mode 1 or 2.

It sounds from your OP that you may have a mode 1 transmitter. Easy way to tell is to see whether the left or right stick does not centre itself when you push it up or down and release. The one that does not self centre is the throttle

On a mode 1 transmitter the throttle is on the right hand stick, so this one will stay put when deflected up or down. The opposite is the case for mode 2, the non centreing stick is on the left (with the Tx facing you).

You don't say if this is a new radio or not. If new and you have got the wrong mode take it back and ask the dealer to exchange it. Because of the non self centring of the throttle stick you cannot just change some settings to change modes.

While I am not a Futaba User I do know that the 7C has four selectable stick modes and I would almost bet that the 9C does also.

I have watched several of the locals using their new 7C's misprogram their radios into the wrong 'stick mode'.

Find someone who knows the 9C or refer back to your manual as this is likely what is happening here.

Could it be as simple as the servos are plugged into the wrong channel? 1 Aileron 2 elevator 3 throttle and 4 rudder

The servos are plugged into their proper channels, the situation was that the transmitter was in mode 1 so I switched it back to mode 2 by simultaneously pressing end and mode switches, so every servo is doing their respective jobs, thanks to all for your contributions, it helped.
