Finally solo!
 

:D Well after sticking my SPAD in the ground the last time I tried to go it alone, I've flew two more days with help. Yesterday I decided it was time to try it alone. Took my wife along in case I lost a finger or something, and gassed her up.. First two tries I cut some grass along the edge of runway. But... I finally got it up and back down. I made five flights with one (last) excellant landing. My OS .46 FX was running very poorly and died about 300 ft. up and 1/4 mile out. I got it down ok albiet rather hot. Couldn't get it to idle long enough to make my last flight so changed the plug and it made all the difference in the world. Last flight was very good with no surprises. Looking for my attaboy guys. See ya.
