Well..Guess what folks?

I'm now an AMA member (more money!)
and i got meself into a CLUB (more money!) So far the two guys i talk to seem like awesome guys on phone. Eager to help a new guy.
I got nice order of goodies coming from tower (more money!)
I got engines started, batteries charged, planes all cleaned up and shiny, air in the tires, etc.

and CRAPPY weather!

as Homer Simpson would say, "Why are you Mocking Me, GOD!"

Good ol' Rocky Mountains... if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes

And to top it off.. got a three day weekend and the little missy insists i take her camping.... i say, Yes dear with my lips but inside is crying and dying to fly!

Oh well... i guess i shouldn't have asked God for patience!

Welcome to "Married with airplanes".

Heres a good one, go camping at the flying site. Plenty of fresh air, open space, and trees.

Now you just need a flying boat and a camp-site with a lake!

I actually have a Piper J3 with floats already set up... but i don't know how to fly !!!

I actually tried rationalizing starting with the float plane that if it crashed it wouldn't do as much damage... yea right!

heres one for you all, sometimes when i want to go flying the wife wants to go floating on our pontoon boat... well it just happens that the national park service lets us fly off the paved pit area that the power boats (Miss Bud.) used when the water level in lake mead was high enough to race... now i fly and look out over the lake and see my wife and kids on the boat haveing fun too....its kind of funny pulling up to the field with a wet boat trailer in tow....have fun...spooner
