Servo Buzz ??

Hi,

Wonder if someone can answer this quick question for me is it normal for a servo to buzz for about 2 seconds when i first turn the reciever switch on ? the buzz goes after about a second or 2..... im using futaba S3003 servos they only buzz when the trasmitter is switched on and not just the reciever i was told not to worry about it, but i thought i would quickly check here :)

If its not what am i doing wrong ?

Thx in advance for your time......

A brief buzz that goes away is nothing to worry about.

But always turn the transmitter on first, and off last. If your receiver doesn't have a signal to lock onto to, it can pick up any stray signal a throw the servos hard over. This has led to stripped servo gears.
