Engine Mount for a Test Stand
1 Attachment(s)
Hi All,
I found this engine mount on the web. It is the simplest I have seen and very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, it is in the UK. Does anyone know of a US supplier? http://www.modelshops.org/model-engi...test-stand.php Thanks, KW_Counter |

Looks like that could easily be made with some supplies from a local hardware store. Ingenius indeed! I'll have to print this out and build one.

Look like you need to make 3. KW_Counter |

ORIGINAL: KW_Counter Speed Demon, Look like you need to make 3. KW_Counter Really looks like a nice piece of 1/4" aluminum flat stock and a few bolts and a tap set would do the trick. Oh yeah...a nice mounted vise to do the bending. Really... Id say less than 5 bucks to make. http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?...&cId=PDIO1 I know this piece of flat bar is more than 12 dollars. But that would make half a dozen of these things! Lowes does sell it in shorter, cheaper lengths. |

Yeah, they would be easy to make;
even easier if my brother hadn't sold the milling machine! I made a real nice one years ago with a soft mount. Unfortunately, I have some 4-strokes that won't fit on it. I'll get something going soon. Good Luck, KW_Counter |
