Bingo! airplane...
Does anyone have any flying experience with a Bingo! that they care to pass along. I am considering making one from plans for an OS 40Fx that needs a new home! Thankx, Fast!

The Bingo is a great airplane, very similar to a 4* but a little more aerobatic.

Bingo! airplane...
I have a Bingo that I built about 5 years ago with an OS 52. One of the greatest planes around. I almost always bring it to the field. As others will tell you it is very similar to the 4* planes.

As my user name implies I fly the "Bingo". Built the first one as soon as I got the plans from RCM after seeing it in that mag. Powered it with an OS .91 Surpass four stroke. It is a great flying plane.
Also built one for a friend he used an older OS.90FS must have gotten everything right on this one as it flew inverted with no down elevator (never had another one do that even with the balance exactly the same). I'm now flying the third one, engine stopped on a very steep takeoff and came down very hard on concrete. Probably could have repaired it but had several repairs already and was getting heavier than I liked. By the way I taught my friend to fly using my first Bingo, he had to have one so we agreed on a price and I built one for him. Easy to fly and will make you look better than you are. |
