Spinner prop nut
So my saito fa92 has a washer, nut and lock nut. With the prop on and then the washer and nuts put on theres no room to put my spinner nut on there. I'm guessing the spinner nut takes the place of the lock nut. Am I correct or am I missing something here? Thank you

RE: Spinner prop nut
you are correct that the spinner nut takes the place of the others.

RE: Spinner prop nut
Takes place of both nuts that are included with the engine? or just the "lock nut" ?.

RE: Spinner prop nut
i use only the spinner nut.

RE: Spinner prop nut
On 4 stroke it takes the plane of the lock nut. 2 strokes only need the one nut so it's the only thing you use on them.

RE: Spinner prop nut
I have uswed enough of the LAs to know when I get a new one to pull out the head screws one at a time and use locktite on each one, let the engine set over night before starting. The screws come loose and you get leakage from the head. Just the nature of the beast. Never once have I pulled the gasket. Even seeing it on the instructions I have never removed one from an LA. Like John I'm pretty sure the head screws came loose. I have cut slots in the top of the screws to ger a flat screw driver onto them to get more torque on them.
