RE: Flying to the clouds

no sir I am not the FAA-just a pilot that has concerns about flying with model airplanes in the same airspace with no seperation, also I am one of many indiviuals that would like to be able to continue to fly models without government interference and probaly one of the many individuals that would testify against you in case of a tragic accident.

You've got to be kidding me, right? The day that an airliner from Hong Kong, flies low enough over my area for me to crash into it with my rc glider, will be the day that another terrorist has hijacked it. Now on a more serious note, have you seen the fpv videos of the rc pilots in your country who always, and I repeat, always fly in commercial airspace? So, if you're looking to report anyone for anything, I'd suggest that you start at your own home front, first and once you've become the crusader at home, then you can branch out into foreign territories and crusade there as well.

Who are you, FAA ? I'm only a drop in the bucket, when it comes to rc pilots who fly well above the normal park flyer, as well as, your regular club member. Soon, I intend to get into atmospheric research, using my rc gliders and then you'll be seeing a whole lot of my mug, in the videos. lol
I recall a video recently of a guy who filmed himself doing about 180MPH on a motorcycle. He, too, introduced himself on his video. I wish they had a video when he was arrested http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...wink_smile.gif

And if you plan on using RC for atmosperic research with commerical results then we certainly will see your mugshot - jsut ask those guys in California who were taking vidoes and photos for realtorshttp://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...bout_smile.gif You may be a drop in the bucket but you have made that bucket so much smaller it might only be a thimble now.

Public and "selected" private airports only. I know of no charts that show all airports. It's too bad, because it would be useful to have them, especially when the new FAA regulations go into effect. Maybe they'll do it someday.

Ok. This has gone way beyond useful to Beginners. We are now going from well intentioned to outlandish.

We have people that want to argue about minor points, to those that have excellent points, to those that are bragging about doing things that have the potential of closing the hobby down. If you want to continue this rediculous business, take it to the clubhouse.

I am closing it down.

Say "Good night, Gracie."
