Noob Nitro question
 

I have been flying electrics and now have a nitro it has Throtte ailerons elevator and rudder and no flaps on electrics you plug the esc into the throttle channel so for nitro where do i plug the RX battery into on the RX?

There is usually a 'Batt' plug in the receiver, if it is not labeled......plug your flight pack into any open plug in the RX.....I'm assuming you ARE going through a switch - right?

As noted by Tailskid, you plug the Rx battery pack into the rx port marked 'Batt' or plug into any unused Rx servo port. On some limited channel count Rx's I.E. four channels, you may have to share one of the already used rx ports by plugging the the power and the servo to the Rx port through a shared Y cord.

Exactly what Rx do you have and what size is Your glow engine?

This diagram is typical for most installs. As stated , what brand transmitter, receiver are you using ?

Short answer, it doesn't matter where you plug it in. The convention is to put it in the channel plug that's highest, ie, ch. 6 on a 6 channel receiver, but the receiver doesn't know the difference. Obviously, channels 1-4 are taken so you can't use those without a Y harness though.
