Evolution .46 oil drip...

Is it normal to have a drip or two of oil a day come from the prop hub area on a Evolution glow engine when stored in the garage after being flown?

I have noticed this on my Alpha 40. Engine seems to run just fine, just wondered if this is common?

Probably . It depends.. Are you draining your tank after your flying sessions ? Are you cleaning your plane off ?. How is your engine oriented ? inverted ,upright ? Could the oil be coming from your muffler ? There should not be a continuous drip that goes on and on but a few drips for a day or two is normal . Even if your front seal was gone your engine would need to be full of fuel for it to be leaking so your tank would need to have fuel in it and it would need to be high enough to siphon .

Draining my tank and running engine until dry after draining tank.

Engine mounted vertical (normal).

Wipe airplane down every time after flying.

Probably normal, but I am new to this so I did not know.

Thanks for the info.

If when you fly you're not getting a lot of oil spray out of the same area your probably ok

I would not worry about the drip that is quite normal and even if you are getting quite a bit of spray from the front bearing again it is not unusual.
