Help with new engine

Hi
I have bought a new MDS .58 nitro engine but it did not come with any glow plugs.
In the instruction manual it says to use Hanger 9'S Han 3005 economy or
Han 3000 performance plugs.
But I can not find any of these plugs.
What other plugs can I use
Cheers
Len

You might try one of these http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...t-plug-HAN3001

Wouldn't an OS plug from your LHS work

Any brand of plug that's long reach (nearly all of them) and between a medium and hot heat range will be fine.

Enya no 3 plug works well in that engine.

5% nitro fuel if you can find it. 10% max.

In my experience they take a while to run in and develop a reliable idle. Say an hour.

This engine has sat around for a while so check the O ring in the needle replace if suspect.. From memory an OS one fits.

I used the OS #8 in all of mine. It's a high compression engine and designed for zero or low nitro fuel. I used 15% but they ran better with 5%. Where on earth did you find a new one?? H-9 only imported them for a short time due to problems with them. Russians revenge!!;)
