What do you think

Ok so i'm a newbie, and i have built a foam type of 3ch glider, now i have never flown rc before. So i was thinking, that maybe i could take the plane to the local rc field, and get someone there who is experienced in rc flying, and see if i could get someone to fly it first.Reason is, i would first like to know that the plane does fly, and do what ever adjustments to the plane it needs before i try and teach myself to fly.I would just like to know that the plane does fly.Does that make sense?

here is the plane.

Yes, it's exactly what you should do. It would also make sense to ask if your local club(s) has an instructor who will teach you to fly. It's possible to teach yourself, but safer and almost certainly faster to have an instructor.

AND almost always much much cheaper with an instructor on a buddy box.

I had the same thought back in the late 80's. It was another 20 years before I learned to fly.
Let someone maiden your glider. But stick around and let the club teach you to fly. Become a member and see how much this is.
good luck
