Help me identify this engine
1 Attachment(s)
So I'm going through my father's old plane equipment (he doesnt build kits anymore). I find a teasure trove of engines, mostly OS Max and Super Tigres... and this big boy.
He doesnt remember what it is, it had to be purchased in the late 90s. I assume it's a clone and I don't recognize the logo. All we can remember is that it was going to be mounted in his bi-plane to give it a more scale look. It's a big sucker, it's got a 12 stamped on one side and the M logo on the other. See the picture below. Can anyone Identify the make and model of this sucker? I appreciate the help - Derigor http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2105794 |
Moki 1.2?
|
I think it is a Mark 1.2 as above but the Moki was renamed Mark 1.2 in the USA for some business reason.
Good engine. If it is like the Moki's I have used it will not like high nitro fuels. 5% is cool. |
Its a MVVS .77. The 12 is for 12cc. which equals .77. They are pretty good engine made in the Czech.

Thanks all. This thing was driving my dad and I nuts.
