Hanger 9 SBach - nearest alternative

Have just saved enough to buy a Hanger 9 SBach with DLE 20cc etc etc.
To my disappointment UK has no stocks of the SBach & not likely to be available until the new year. From experience that can drift for weeks.

So now I have the cash - I want a plane to learn IMAC maneuvers to improve my flying skill. I wanted the 20cc plane so the engine can be moved on to slightly bigger planes in the future but do not want to go any bigger at this time. The SBach gets good reviews in most youtube vids etc

Anyone got a suggestion for nearest alternative- available in UK

I can't say that another plane will replicate the performance of the H9 Sbach, but it's not like you have 500 hours on one and lost it and are now looking to get the same characteristics you had before. You just need a good IMAC plane in the 20cc size. Truthfully, you'll do fine with most any Yak 54, Extra 300, Giles 202, Edge 540, AJ Slick, etc. The round cowl of a Yak is better for doing an inverted engine installation, and some say it gives you a little more side area to work with in your knife edge flying. But there's a good reason why these planes are so ubiquitous in IMAC and why none of them dominates- they are all good performers.

Success!!!! I have found one - should be with me this week. DLE 20cc is also on its way from another supplier

Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems it is a really popular plane which clears the shelves very quickly
