Most of my planes use elevon/delta configurations. I have them all working on my tactic ttx650 and 850. Recently I went to the flying field and something strange happened. The elevons on EVERY plane stopped working. The ailerons work fine but when I move up or down elevator stick it acts like they are ailerons. I tried resetting the controls but nothing has worked. I changed the receivers but no luck. I even swapped a few of the servos but no luck. The only explanation I can come up with is that both the 650 and 850 tx's somehow got screwed up. Can the tx's be reset to factory default? Both transmitters are less than 1 year old and treated gently. By the way the planes that use elevator, rudder and ailerons work fine. What the #$@^&%$*& happened? HELP!:confused::mad:

It must be a setting in your radio. Go back to the beginning and start over .

All of the radio types I am familiar with feature a reset function although it is only for one airplane at a time. Sometimes the fellows will accidently activate a particular 'models' reset with a loss of all mixes and other settings but it only for that one model.

The loss of all your mixes is strange. I would start by resetting the mix on one particular model in the normal fashion and see how it goes. So yes you are likely going to need to reprogram each model that lost the mix anyway and failing this I would sent the tranny(s) in for a checkup.

I discovered the problem totally by accident. It was operator error. i.e. a combination of transmitter settings and not connecting the servo leads where they should have been connected. I am still walking about slapping my head wondering why I did what I did. Chalk it up to old age.
