Yeah, my Kadet Senior flew fine with the 700 mAh pack. I really like NiMH for their durability, so definitely suggest that over nicad. Getting the 2000 mAh pack, might as well. My Kadet needed nose weight, so a bigger battery is a good idea. Bottom line, check the battery between flights. The VoltWatch is not a bad investment. Or use a voltmeter that can put a load on it.
