BNF Flyers
Hi All,
Getting back into RC Flying after being out for about 5 years! I am looking for a small electric plane that I can fly on a high school baseball field. It can be either a BNF or ARF as I have a Spektrum DX7 transmitter. My main concern is getting something that will last more than 5-7 minutes in the air without having to buy a myriad of batteries. Any ideas on what to look for? Thanks in advance, Brad |
7-10 minutes is a pretty typical flying time for electrics. Just get several batteries. The Mini Telemaster is a nice small field plane.

Get a glider and hope to find a lot of lift . Other wise as said about 7 - 10 minutes is normal . ENJOY !!! RED

Several of us have them and with the right conditions we have flown them for 30min on a single 1s battery ! |
Thanks for all the responses. I actually do have a UMX Radian. I do enjoy it, I was look for something a little more than a glider.
I will definitely look at the Telemaster Mini. Thanks again. |
Short of a glider you will not find any "typical" parkflyer plane that flys for more than 7-8 minutes. You can get some wings that will carry a very large mah battery and will fly for upwards of 25 minutes or so but that's not something you will be flying round and round in a park or ball field.
