Looking for help?

Flying days are running out. If there are beginners wanting some stick time, I am willing to offer to give free flight instruction for at least 2 hours on my LT-40.
It would be worth the trip. No strings.

That's really nice of you, fliers1. I hope someone takes you up on it. I think one of our biggest challenges is that there isn't a big "gift" holiday during the time when training is easy to do. New planes arrive at Christmas, and training can't start until April.

Now that actually depends on your location. I "technically" could fly year round since I live in the Pacific Northwest. We don't get a lot of snow or high winds so it's doable. If I do get snow, I could put skis on my plane and fly as well. As far as "getting instruction", most won't want to stand out in the cold to receive or give it. Now, if you live in the southern half of the country, you can fly to your hearts content year round

Where there is a will, there's a way. I've been training indoors all winter using my training technique on a simulator and Horizon hobby's Night Vapor https://www.horizonhobby.com/product...r-rtf-pkzu1100

I have use of several school gyms in my area. I have literally everyone I train outdoors, with my assistance, have takeoff and landing experience on their first or second ever RC flying experience.
