Attaching wing to fuselage

Hi,
I'd like to know if it is possible to find out where to place an airplane's wings to its fuselage in advance once the fuselage has been constructed so that it is well balanced.

Thanks in advance

Once the tail feathers, landing gear, engine and servos are installed to the fuselage, you should be able to find the C/G of the fuselage. At that point you will be able to locate the wing. I have done it many times.

Okay , does that mean that the cg of the fuselage is automatically the cg of the whole plane?

The Wing will add a a little weight towards the tail, on a trainer it will be very little. So in a sense yes the fuselage will influence the C/G because it has the longest moment arm and possesses the heaviest equipment.

Dogar- Please create your own thread for your question. I'd suggest the scale building forum to ask about sources for scale drawings. Hijacking other people's threads with an unrelated question is generally considered rude though in an online forum. Also, welcome to RCU. I think you'll find some great guys here.

12Harris12- The CG of the whole plane should come out as the CG of the fuselage, but there are exceptions. Wing mounted engines will shift the CG forward, for example. If this is a plane you are designing, that can be a good place to start once all of your components are installed. Of course, there are other considerations like the tail and nose moments that you need. I assume this is your own design?
