HELLO~

Get the Hobbico "Classic Cruiser" FF electric model. Add a 4 or 5 amp ESC, and use a 5 cell battery pack, 300 mah appx, NiMh. (lighter than the same capacity NiCd) use the GWS Tiger Moth servos and RX.

The lines for hinging the elevator and rudder are molded in. Use packing tape for the hinge material... cut it in 1 inc wide strips and 1/2 of the strip goes on each side of the hinge line.

You'll have a 3 ch electric trainer that flys nicely. You don't have to change the motor... but it won't last more than about 100 flights. Then you can cram the GWS motor in there and use a larger battery (but glide will suffer...)

These don't ROG well... but they do a nice touch-n-go.

How do i know this works? I have the Smithsonian version of the Classic Cruiser. Just different colors. I picked it up from Wal-Mart's discount shelf a year ago. It still flys!
