Fuse length
When measuring the fuselage length is the elevator or rudder {which ever further} included in the measurement ?Thanks
|
Normally fuselage length is tip of the spinner to the back of the rudder.
|
Thanks. I crashed my 72 inch trainer and what was left from the crash is the fuselage wing saddle structure only and left side wing with minimal damage. I also have plane picture and dimensions. Very interesting project with no plans.
|
Are you really going to rebuild that model? A few before and after photos would be nice.
|
I am at the final stage of joining the flaps and ailerons surfaces to the wing and the built will be complete. I will post pics of the initial crashed pieces I started the build with and the plane now.
Cheers |
I am looking forward to your photos.:)
A 6ft trainer? A Sedona maybe? |
Thanks for your interest. I will post pics in a day or two as I am now left with engine mount and throttle link and probably some decals stickers .
Cheers. |
Good evening. the project of re-building my mid-aired crashed trainer plane is now finished. Over 3 months work ,$160 NZ materials and use of parts from other crashed planes. I used whatever films I had to cover the plane thus it is a bit unconventional !
Pics of crashed parts: almost good 1/2 wing and fuse saddle that I started with and the final product are attached. Well, the result is not disappointing at all. Nice to be able to do that re-build on the basis of those few remnants.
And that color scheme on a trainer will be to your advantage. |
Thanks a lot Rijoli . The plane did encounter a mid air crash and I must add that I was flying the circuit and the other big plane came vertical from below . He was training on 3d maneuvers !
