Fist plane
 

Hello,I have been into rc cars fro about 5 years rc planes enver really intrested me till about a week ago when i accidently went into a plane picture forum iw as imedetly addicted.I always htought of airplanes as a hobby you throw $1000 into a plan ot have is crash on the first flight but i found this sight that had begginer plane for the 200-300 area rtr.My first question is what is better for begginers airplanes or helis?LAso should i go with nitro or electric as my first plane?Here is the plane im looking at [link=http://www.hobby-lobby.com/leonardo.htm]Leonardo Lightweight ARF[/link] how long are run times witht his plane are they like 10min?I odnt want to make the mistake i did with rc cars and have to charge batt. every 10min [:'(] Thank You for any help

Go with Nitro... One of the best trainers are Sig LT-40 search towerhobbies.com for it hope this helps!

is there a palce i can get a kit with that plane and allt he stuff needed i know there is a list ont hat page but i dont want o buy something that wont work with that plane or that is a sucky product:D

find a local club and see what they are using. I like the Alpha but I sell them. Not one has come back. They are well liked at our field.

that looks like a nice kit but if i crash it wount it be more expensive to fix than a electric one? Im not shure really what to buy there are so many options:D

I think electrics are harder to fly than Glow....especially the inexpensive ones. With electric's, your typically on the edge of the power curve, easier to stall, less responsiveness which messes with your brain.

Ok i decided def. to get the Avistar 40 RTF.Are there any free simualtors i can use till i get my plane?

Welcome to RCFlight, but slow down a little. You can NOT just buy a plane, take it out back and fly it. Your fear of shelling out all that money and then crashing on the first fight is a VERY real possibility if you try.

Go to the AMA's website, they have a page which will tell you where the closest club is to you.

Go to the club and ask about their instructor program. (Around the middle of the day on Saturday or Sunday is your best bet.) They'll make recommendations about which equipment to buy so that it's compatible with wha they're using.

nono when i meant use it till i ge tmy palne i mean using the turning a movment on the ground not up in the air.Ill check out the clubs but the only one i have found near me are liek i said above:(
