RE: servo question.

The top is were i put them.
But the guys are right about futaba instructions says bottom.
It just seem easier for me to put them through the top.
I REALLY DONT THINK it matters. I have done it this way
for 33 years and never had a problem.

Actually, they go in through the bottom of the rubber grommet. If you put them in through the top, then the screw drives the brass eyelet into the wood of the mount.

Futaba instructions say that it should go bottom.

I've done it both ways. Sometimes I just don'e pay attention. I don't think it makes a difference and I've never observed one.

Put them in from the bottom. I have seen a few beginners cut a hole in the mount if inserted from the top. The idea is to have a place for the screw to stop. The servo needs to move a little for vibration isolation.

Precisely. If you put them in from the top, you can continue to tighten the screw until the brass eyelet is driven completely through the wood, with it in from the bottom it acts as a stop.

I guess once you've been doing it for awhile you could excercise restraint, but why not put them in correctly to begin with?

Ditto, they should go in from the bottom for reasons outlined in the above posts.
