covering step by step
hi is there a website that gives you step by step covering tips with solarfilm ?
thanks :D |
RE: covering step by step
I dunno about solarfilm specifically, but read Minnflyer's How-To in the "magazine" section. It helped me tremendously working with ultracote (oracover). I believe the basics should be the same, as it is just another heatshrink film.

RE: covering step by step
I know it's not a web page, but, one of the best books I'v seen is "Tom's Techniques" published by Harry Higley.
He shows in detail how to get a professional finish using the iron on coverings. At $14.95 it's one of the better modeling investments I have made. Phil in MN[8D] |
