Sorry not to know, but what is a 4*? Who makes it and is it a 4 Star?

It's a 4 Star. Manufactured by Sig manufacturing. It comes in three sizes in kit form, .40, .60, and 1.20. It is available as an ARF in the .60 size.

It's an excellent low wing trainer in any of the sizes, and a good flyer in it's own right. It can be kit bashed to become almost anything you want to make into in the low wing format.

I have built 6 or 8 of them in various forms. They have all flew extremely well.

I built a 4*40 about 6 months ago as the next step up from a Sig Kadet LT-40 and have found it to be as easy to fly as a true trainer. Actually easier. The biggest problem is that it has so much wing it likes to float on landing. I have been told that if you shorten the wing, 1 rib on each end, it makes a great flying plane. You might consider it.
