RE: What to get
how bout a midwest aerobat?
U-Can-Do i think is hard Aerobat is aerobatic! Listen to Minn and DBCherry, they know more than I do |
RE: What to get
Get an intermeadiate plane first and find out how good you can fly!!! The planes you want are going to be a hand full and be rekitted the first flight, Gas and electric are a little different to fly.

RE: What to get
Glow IS different from electric. You'll be surprised by the increase in speed and performance. (Although the Wattage 300 is a pretty agile airplane.)
I'm hoping that you're going to be flying glow at a club field. If so, go hang out and ask if they might be willing to give you a quick flight on a Buddy Box. (Most clubs have the ability, or someone there will.) I don't know your level of skill with these things, so I can't really advize you on the U-Can-Do, but I will tell you it would be a handful for someone who isn't farily skilled. You can take it from there. Good luck, and welcome to the dark side! :D Dennis- |
RE: What to get
I agree with outlaw....maybe a shoulder wing like a stick model or something similar. Several on RCU love the Sig 4*40...maybe that's more your speed.

RE: What to get
Should I get a nitro trainer or what? I really like the u-can-do or maybe a sukhio(sp) or cap 232. What would be good. I am a pretty good electric flyer i can hover do hammerheads um just some odd tricks. Im pretty confident that I can fly a u can or something like that but just want to make sure and not be out alot of money. HMMM what to do what to do.
Thanks |
RE: What to get
I'm going to go out on a limb and say, buy the U-Can-Do, but with two conditions.
1) Set the throws to about half of what's recommended. (If you have dual rates, set the minimum at half.) 2) Go to a club field and have someone get it in the air the first time, then stand by in case you need someone to hand it off to. Good luck, Dennis- |
