Learning Aids
Hello guys,
Need a bit of advice really. For my dissertation at Uni I've decided to design and build an RC autopilot under the guise of a learning aid to help the beginner in our hobby. The main reason for this is because whilst trying to learn how to fly I came up against many obstacles which may have put any other person off. I fully appreciate that simulators help a great deal with orientation etc but I'm talking about actual stick time. As a result I need to do some research into currently available products but am having difficulty finding any! The only one I've found is the FMA Co-pilot... anyone know of any others? Thank you in advance for any feedback you can give. Adam |

RE: Learning Aids
When you build yours, design it for the RC market. Don't make it too complicated and keep the price down. We don't want to remove the 'manual' hands-on aspect of flight, but would like something that could bring the plane back and hold it in a pattern in case of signal loss or interference.
