mode 1 or mode 2?

Went to a meeting of a local club to get some info prior to joining, I overheard some people talking about mode1 and mode2 flight setups.

what were they talking about?

RE: mode 1 or mode 2?

Mode one has rudder and elevator on the left stick and throttle and ailerons on the right stick.

Mode two has throttle and rudder on the left stick and elevator and aileron on the right stick.
