what spinner nut should i use on a OS 46fx with an APC 12x4?

46FX has a 1/4"-28 threaded crank shaft.

FWIW, the designation 14-28 means the crank shaft has a 1/4" outside diameter (it will fit into a 1/4 inch hole), and it has 28 threads per inch.
So, knowing that you are able to mate the spinner nut to the crank shaft. This does not help you to make sure that the nut is long enough to dighten fully on to the prop, but I would be really surprised if you find one with a problem. Also, spinner nuts can be intentionally heavt because it makes sense that when you have a tail heavy plane, the most useful place to put counter-balancing weight is right n front of the prop. So, there are long, short, heavy, and light spinner nuts, all available in different threads. gus |

But do watch what teh spinner nut is made of. some of teh 'heavy hubs' are brass, and will strip easier than hardened steel (the black nut that came with the engine)
