RE: antenna length

I believe all receivers in the 72MHZ band have a 1 meter antennae length...

checking with Hitec ... (Look on their "other accessories" page at http://www.hitecrcd.com/

part number 54001 Green Green Antenna Wire With Bobbin for Feather Receiver
part number 58011 Black Antenna Wire for Aircraft Receivers Except Feather Receiver

So, I guess the feather receiver has something different.

aaahhh... have a look at : http://www.hitecrcd.com/Receivers/featherrx.htm then click on the FAQ.
Antenna length is 42 inches, or 1050mm.

Now, that is all pretty wierd because I convert 42 inches into 1067mm..... anyways, that is a half-inch difference.

super, merci pour le tuyau... thanks for the info. ... and i was wondering if you thought it was right that i bought a 41 mhz radio pack with a 72 mhz receiver ? on the receiver the frequency is written 41.000 and the quartz is a 41.000. do you think the length is still 1067mm ? it seems to me that the antenna was shorter than that before... but i dont know very much about those things...

The anetnna will have a different length here in the US on 72Mhz than it will there in France on another frequency. You might want to take the question to the Hitec forum under radios. There is a Hitec rep there who can tell you for sure if no one else can.
