needle valve

I have An OS LA 40 on the front of my kadet lt 40. My question is does it affect anything if the needle valve is vertical or horizontal. Anything would be appreciated. thanks

Nope.
Engine angle really doesn't matter.
On your particular plane Upright would prob be the easiest though.

More that doesn't matter... the remote needle can be up to 2 time the dia f the cylinder head separated from the engine with no noticeable effect. Anywhere a piece of tubing that length will let it go... you can put it there and be confident it will work.

Further... you can put the needle valve all the way back to the fuel nipple on the fuel tank... fast throttle transitions may become a problem.
