Reversing help
 

Hi, I'm planning to buy a y harness, and I was wondering if you need a servo reverser attached to one of the ends of the y harness to work the ailerons. So if I push left aileron control, one of the servos will push up and the other push down. I have included a picture to show you what I'm talking about.(fullsize it to see it) Thanks for helping me guys!:D

Actually, you want the servose to behave exactly the same.

When you install the ailerons, they are mirror images of each other (the wings are symmetrical). s a result, the servo horn points to the left on one servo, and to the right on the other. Thus, one servo behaves the opposite of the other already.

Actually, you can buy a wye with a reverser built into it; ailerons won't need it, two elevator or flap servos will, if you wye them into the same channel...JIM

Just to add to gus's post:
In the first pic, the aileron pushrods are on opposite sides of the servos, this is what you want.
When the left servo arm goes up, the right servo arm will go down. In the second pic, the pushrods are on the same side of both servos, and the ailerons will act like flaps, with both either going up or down together. Just "Y" them together with a standard "Y" adapter and plug them both into the aileron channel of your receiver.

Note... picture 2:
WORKS for flaps with a Y and no reverser. :D Just has one flap control horn a bit further from the fuselage than the other. Not a problem.
Can also work for dual elevator servos.. just off center inside the fuselage. (but thats an ODD setup)

I agree,
with dual elevator servos, I'd rather just use a Y harness with built-in reverser.

If this is one of your questions about the flying wing, a "Y" harness will NOT work, unless you want to fly without elevator. ;)
