First steps to new hobby!

I have built a hangar 9 easyfly 40, I have an OS.46fx engine, a futaba skysport 4chn. totebox, everything is built and ready. I can't fly for two more weeks as our field as it's fun fly this weekend, and it's heli fun fly next weekend."SOMEONE SHOOT ME! I CAN'T STAND IT! :)

Sorry just had to get this off my chest.

Also a few tips for really new beginners. (1). Don't build your plane on the dining room table. Especially if you have cats!
(2). By all the assembly tools it says you will need first! Yes! you will need all of them.
(3). Don't be afraid to ask questions at your local hobby shop, I didn't need z benders when I can use quick clamps and other items that was recommended.
(4). Buy the BIG bottle of DEBONDER for the CA. Your fingers will thank you.
(5). Support your local hobby shop!
(6). Support your local hobby shop! and finally,
(7). Support your local hobby shop!

Thanks.

You need to approach the Prez. about getting a weekday afternoon trainer nite started. Less stress on the trainee when
he/she is with others that are learning.

I would agree about a trainer night. Less stress for you and we all forget what it was like to be a newbee. We tend to get impatient when a trainer and instructor are in the air.
