CG

Another question, I hope these don't get tiresome as they probably seem pretty basic. Do you set up your CG with the fuel tank full or empty? Full and the plane will get tail heavy as the fuel runs out and empty makes it nose heavy. I would think empty is the correct answer but I thought I had better ask the experts.

There is the occasional pusher design you ballance with the tank full... when the fuel tank is located behind the CG.

You balance the plane with the CG as far back as it will get in flight. If the tanks is ahead of the wing... that's empty. If the tank is behind... its full. If the tank is on the CG location... it does not matter.;)

The whole point is... never end up tailheavy.
