Modeltech Bf-109 .25 ARF

The modeltech Bf-109 .25 ARF really looks sweet on the ads. Anybody with experience on it? I love warbirds.[&:]

I haven't flown it myself, but a fellow clubmember has one, and it flies very nicely. According to him, it handles very much like a small pattern plane rather than the typical lead sled warbird.

RE: Modeltech Bf-109 .25 ARF

I had one that I built last winter, I had read an article on one that they had to ad nose weight too, so instead I put in a bushing 40 size engine and it balanced perfectly. It flew great with the 40, very fast, excellent handling, did snap rolls like you wouldn't believe. Plane is a bit small for my liking but was visible with the yellow on the tail. Unfortunately for me I had a mechanical control failure as one of my ball joint solder connections failed and i crashed:( Its a very nice looking and flying plane for the money, I would recommend it to anyone. If you get it good luck to ya. Butch in Niagara Falls
