Kyosho weird prices !!

Has anyone ran into this problem before?........I have a kyosho cap 232 60 size and need a new fuse. I have all the other parts to complete it but the fuse is the same price as a new arf !! I called towers and they said a wing set is $199 , a fuse is $199 or the whole plane is $199. I then asked why is the replacement parts the same price as the airplane and the reason they told me is that is just the way kyosho sells them. Weird huh? Well I guess I will just keep searching for a used fuse on ebay..

I think it approaches criminal that some companies do this, but it's their stuff so they can price it any way they want I guess. By comparison, Great Planes sells replacement wings for their Super Sportster ARF for about $37.

You might try placing a Wanted ad in RCU's Marketplace. ;)

RE: Kyosho weird prices !!

I have been watching RCU for the fuse but didnt see one. Also watching ebay. The airplane was given to me and all it needs is the fuse so im not in a hurry to spend lotsa $$$$$ on it since I have 14 more arfs to complete and 12 airplanes ready to fly right now. The thing that makes me upset is why do they charge so much for replacement parts when they are only pieces of the whole airplane. thanks

It is simple - because they want your money. Badly. Your problem does not matter to them. Have you ever been to that part of the globe where Kyosho lives?
